We wanted to stay in Paso Robles for the night, but it seemed there were only over-priced rundown hotels, corporate “budget” hotels, or high priced options. Then we found Hotel Siri! I think it has only been open for a month, It isn’t far from downtown, the furnishings are great, and upstairs, it has a common, outdoor lounge area that has tables and chairs and a nice seating area. We hung out there a little bit, but after being out all day, we chose to relax in our room, order in a gourmet pizza and finish our bottle of wine from lunch. The location is in the not too business-y area of downtown, and the side of it is on 24th Street (walking distance from a strip of good, local, cheaper food places and Starbucks), which can be busy, but even though we had the closest room to the street, when we shut the glass door, noise was not an issue. The room is nicely decorated in hip, wine country decor, and the bed is amazing! It was high off the floor, which was fun and unexpected, and SO comfortable! The bathrooms are beautiful and the towels were pretty and much better than I’ve seen at similarly priced hotels. The owner, who checked us in, was very nice too. We are so happy to have discovered it and look forward to staying there again!More
