We have stayed at various hotels, motels, and B&Bs in our many visits to Paso, but none with the charm and grace that the Farmhouse Motel has to offer. The rooms are quaint and has a ton of character. The bed is super soft. The minute lie down, you fall asleep. The bedroom is nice. The shower is just a tad small, but the water pressure is perfect. The room had a big screen...no, a huge screen television, with a lot of cable channels to chose from. They have a sweet kitchenette, with a sink, coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave in the room.. There is a great possibility that Marilyn Monroe and Joe Garagiola had their honeymoon here. The people in the front office are so nice. The Farmhouse is within a short walk to many shops, stores, movie theater and great restaurants. At night, when the town goes to sleep, the room is so quiet and peaceful and relaxing. Definitely a must visit.....we are definitely visiting Farmhouse again.

Room tip: there is no ice bucket in the room, but they are sweet enough to give you ice when you check in...as well as when you check out.

Rooms were definitely retro and felt welcoming. More towels provided they any other hotel I have been in in a while. The beds were very comfortable. Our biggest issue was ants, in the bath room area and the bedroom area. Also on our second day we had turned off the AC, as it was really chilly in the room, we forgot to turn it back on when we left for our outting and when we returned the maid had not turned it on either and the room was about 110 degrees. It took about 2 hours to make it comfortable. Also the maid seemed to only make the beds and did not really clean the bathroom or bedroom. Overall cute place but needs far more attention to detail.

Stayed 1 night. It’s an Older Motel but very well keeper. Check in was fast and the staff was very professional and friendly. Shower was a little small but it worked. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. I would stay again.

This is a nice rustic motel, not far from downtown Paso Robles. Walking distance to great breakfest/ brunch restaurant ( Joe’ s place). For dinner, perhaps better to drive then walk on the Spring street. Staff friendly, room nice and clean, beds comfortable. Would stay here again.

We managed to book a relatively last minute room with a king size bed at this small motel. I wasn't too sure about it, but several reviews mentioned that the beds were comfortable, so I thought we should give it a try. It was pet friendly (unlike any of the Hilton or Marriott properties in the area which I would have otherwise chosen for collecting or using points), and priced reasonably. I guess with the fair in town things were booking up.

We stayed 2 nights and slept just fine both nights. Surprisingly it was pretty quiet considering there were cars parked right outside and several other rooms nearby (it was a full house). My 2 minor complaints were that even though the rooms were non-smoking, people were smoking right outside their units and of course the smoke gets into the rooms. If you are sensitive about that, ask about where a good room for you would be. The second thing was the tiny vintage shower with a shower curtain - a little tight for me, a lot tight for my husband.

Room was very generously sized, everything was spotless (floors, linens, etc), there was a desk and a large closet, tons of towels and wash cloths, extra blankets and pillows. The bathroom looked small but actually had plenty of storage under the sink or up on shelves. Hairdryer was provided, along with some travel sized toiletries. Water pressure in the shower was good and plenty of hot water (note: be careful because the hot water takes a while to kick in, but when it does, you could easily be burned - adjust with cold before stepping in!). The water from the sink was more like a trickle, but worked out OK.

Cute garden in the front of the property, convenient to the highway and to downtown, etc. On a busy road, but couldn't really hear from the room. The wifi worked well, and the TV had lots of working channels. Both a ceiling fan and a window air conditioner kept the room cool in the 90-100F+ heat.
