This is a great place to eat and with reasonable prices. They have daily specials and the portions are hearty. When I want a good steak din din this is my go to place.

It doesn't look like much on the corner of Foothill Blvd. & Rosemead, but as you get closer you'll begin to get the Western flavor and possibly the smell of grilled onions and 1/2 pound burgers. Most bang for your buck in Pasadena.

We used to come here for breakfast but they stopped serving it when their breakfast chef left. Now we just come by for their Monday special from time to time. It's four pieces of fried chicken, one side (baked potato is good), soup or salad and some Texas toast. Don't forget the small ice cream dish that comes with. I can't say the chicken is always cooked just right. Sometimes it's over cooked and the breast is dry. But for less than $10 it's a good night out.

We went at 6:00 on a Friday evening and I was surprised at how empty the parking lot was. There was only one table in use when we went inside. Our server was very good and the steaks were cooked to order. The quietness and few guests gave us time to talk without feeling rushed to vacate the table. I hope they got busy after we left. We will return here.

We love this restaurant...one of our favorites. After spending 50+ dollars in one of the better known steakhouses, we found this place. For $14 you can get about a 10 oz steak with salad, baked potato, and garlic toast, This is a fraction of the price and not too far from as good. Definitely worth the money you save, and the steak is delicious! The atmosphere is cowboyish...and not fancy at all...but sometimes that's what one wants...just down home comfortable good eating. As I said before, it's one of our favorite places to eat!! (Good for couples, families, after church small lunch groups, or solo.) * On Saturday and Sunday mornings, they have an EXCELLENT steak and eggs breakfast for less than a regular breakfast at other better known breakfast restaurants. It's excellent!
