The place is pricey and noisy but the food and service are great. We ordered plantain chips, chilli releno, ravioli with bean and cheese, small plate tacos, shrimp small plate (okay) and the banana Upside down cake which was amazing. With 2 drinks it cost us $140 without tips. This was Mexican did with a twist

Plain chips with dip scored 4/5. It was crispy, tasty, long about 10 pieces. Wish there was one more sauce which was spicy. The dip was a small portion, creamy and tasted tangy. Wish it was a bit more as we ran out of it.

Chilli releno asked a 4.5 as it was perfect. Filled with cheese and jalapeño it was laid in a perfect sauce with Cole slaw side. The 2 peppers were really small sized but perfect.

The tacos were good but the shrimp was average according to the meat lover.

The ravioli was 5 pieces the size of dumplings filled with good bean paste. The salad on top had crunchy tomatoes and was delicious. This was a 3.75 and I guess I was getting less hungry with dismissing returns. I may have gone with another small plate instead of this full plate.

Finally the warm dessert was extraordinary with a warm banana cake which was devoured in 1o seconds worth the caramel Ice cream sitting on powdered Brown sugar. Will visit again just for this.

On a recent visit to Palo Alto we took our family to Reposado for dinner. I think I was expecting a more traditional Mexican restaurant and this was not one. We could not find anything on the dinner menu that sounded good so we opted to order small plates. There were 4 of us and a toddler...so we ordered 8 small plates, then 2 more, and then two more. It dishes were okay but not really filling or exciting. Service was also not good...had to ask our server for chips and salsa. disappointing.

Visited twice within a 72 hour period whilst i was in San Jose. The place was very busy during both nights i visited. Staff were very friendly and helpful- they helped us pick out food options that we all shared. The nacho chips and the margaritas were awesome!

We were a group of 5 for dinner and we all very much enjoyed our dinners. Loved the crepes con Moriscos (so tasty and quite a large portion with two overfilled crepes), the salmon and the short ribs. The beet salad was good, not great. Guacamole was tasty but not spectacular though chips and dips were good. Very attentive service. We sat near the bar in a booth and thought at first that was a mistake as loud customers stood right next to the booth. They moved on, however, so noise level was doable. A bit noisier it seemed in the main dining room. Decent wine list and of course huge list of tequila beverages. Dessert menu looked wonderful though we were too full to try anything. Definitely a go again place -- must have reservations for dinner.

Tip-top ... awesome food (raw and cooked). Even though this feels like a very busy place, super helpful waiter/ ess service was always at hand.

The only slightly embarrassing part of the evening was my colleague's somewhat substandard (read 'totally idle :-)) parking.
