Had a great sandwich at Joey's in Palm Springs. Very tasty and a nice little spot to sit on the patio and watch people walk by.

JOEY is now open 7 days a week, 7am-5pm. Their kitchen closes 3pm, so if you want anything besides the best coffee I've ever tasted (organic, fair trade, lesbian-owned Equator) & baked-on-the-premises pastries + croissants/bagels – and something delicious on their breakfast/lunch menus, get there before then. Dropped in when visiting PS in Feb. when they were still closed Tuesdays & on Tues.5/11 - will go again whenever I'm in PS. Feb. visit: mini-sticky bun, Zuni orange-cranberry scone (Joey co-owner Vince Calcagno formerly co-owned fabled SF bistro) & croque monsieur. Last Tues., shared with friends: breakfast strata, blueberry buckle; luncheon hummus-avocado tartine, best curried chicken sandwich ever on cranberry bread coated with roasted pecan crumbs. Accompanied by fresh green & fruit salads. Indoor & courtyard seating. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my cappuccino, aromatic and light, nicely presented, and then lunch on another occasion, I liked the service, very professional, nice charcuterie plate, generous portion, with tasty bread and crisps,

We went to Joeys, most every morning for three weeks, This is a quiet cafe serving great coffee and sweets. Quiet surroundings and an little oasis on a very busy street. It is well worth your time to visit. Try the raspberry buckels.

Had lunch at the newly opened Joey in Palm Springs. It is a nice Bistro type place to stop and get some good coffee and the menu at lunch was limited with only about 4 items. We had the coronation sandwich made with a fresh cranberry bread and a curry chicken salad with mango chutney. The sandwich had the edges of the bread cut off, making it cute for presentation and not very large with the sides buttered and covered with finely chopped pecans. Served with a small lightly dressed side salad it was $10. The sandwich was very unique and though not a large portion worth $10 since it tasted great. They recently starting serving dinner. We will want to give the dinner menu a try.
