This trendy eatery has a colorfully funky decor, distinct Palm Springs vibe and a nicely varied menu. I was taken by a local who raved about his beef tenderloin, and I was only slightly less enthusiastic about my fried chicken. The accompanying buttermilk potatoes were delicious but the pickled green tomatoes were so pungent I couldn't tolerate them. The other misstep was our waitress who imposed every five minutes to ask, "Are we still enjoying?" I don't know if this was her overbearing personality or a management dictate, but either way it became thoroughly obnoxious. I would definitely go back next visit to Palm Springs, but I would order a different entree and hope for a less intrusive wait person.

Eight4Nine came recommended by a local, who said it was best to eat inside to enjoy the decor. We split the grilled artichoke appetizer, which was fresh and a nice start to the meal. . Edgar, our waiter, gave excellent advice as I could not decide. He recommended the Lobster roll and I think it was an excellent choice. The desserts were lovely and the lime pie has condensed milk so consistency is similar to cheesecake. We blew out the baked Alaska when it was nicely toasted and the meringue was perfect.

For a friend’s birthday, we ventured into this trendy restaurant. The decor reminds me of a mix of Miami Glam with Palm Springs Retro vibe. We choose the 4 course menu for $46. Our first impression was tuna and cucumber skewer, very tasty. We then had soups, the definite winner was the Curry Cauliflower. Entrees were good, but must say the least favorite part of the meal. Finally, we order various desserts to give them a try. Hands down the Coachella Lime Pie , AKA Key Lime Pie was the clear winner. Our cute and friendly waiter Joseal was friendly and attentive.

I love this place and have been several times. The service is always great and the food is excellent with a varied menu. The portions are healthy size. Great for brunch too. Great combination of private dining rooms, outdoor patio and indoor seating.

We started off at the bar, great service and with a full bar plenty to choose from. Once we were seated, the service continued to be spot on. The decor is very interesting, plenty to look at. Started with break, salad and crab corn chowder, awesome! We had the beef tenderloin and fried chicken, both were perfectly prepared! We had a perfect experience, you won’t be disappointed!
