This trendy eatery has a colorfully funky decor, distinct Palm Springs vibe and a nicely varied menu. I was taken by a local who raved about his beef tenderloin, and I was only slightly less enthusiastic about my fried chicken. The accompanying buttermilk potatoes were delicious but the pickled green tomatoes were so pungent I couldn't tolerate them. The other misstep was our waitress who imposed every five minutes to ask, "Are we still enjoying?" I don't know if this was her overbearing personality or a management dictate, but either way it became thoroughly obnoxious. I would definitely go back next visit to Palm Springs, but I would order a different entree and hope for a less intrusive wait person.
