What a beautiful setting and great location. Considering this inn is only blocks from the Palm Springs downtown area, it was amazingly quiet. We really had no use for a car other than golf or sight seeing. The rooms were spacious, well furnished and nicely decorated. This is a more intimate setting than a resort. The guests were quiet but friendly. The salt water pool was very inviting and never a surprise in temperature. Thanks for the great stay!

We decided to gather our family for a three day stay at Coyote Inn in Palm Springs to celebrate pre-Christmas Holidays together. The innkeeper, Eva, was charming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We stayed in three of the seven rooms. All of the rooms were immaculate and beautifully appointed. We loved the garden with stately palms, banana and citrus trees, flowering shrubs and families of hummingbirds lining the paths as we sat around the pool. The view of the San Jacinto mountains as the sun rose was spectacular. My husband and I watched the light from the beautiful outdoor spa. In the afternoon Eva baked us fresh cookies and stoked up the firepit. We sat ourdoors, sipped wine and watched the stars. Our only disappointment was that our three days at Coyote Inn went too quickly but we took home wonderful memories.
All I have to say is that the Coyote Inn was the most relaxful place I have ever been. The location is perfect, the rooms are comfortable, the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing. It is a must if you want a place to relax with fantastic weather. I am going back in April.
Based on reviews read here, decided to check out Coyote Inn in October 2005. Arrived w/no reservations, expecting nothing more than a chance to take a look at the place. But lo and behold, they had a vacancy! And a wonderful suite it was! Spacious, nicely decorated, comfy bed, full kitchen, fireplace -- just great!
Pool area is beautifully landscaped, and has lots of nice touches, such as hummingbird feeders, cozy tables where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, and a spa.
Owners Mary and Gary were away when we first arrived, but they welcomed us warmly on their return. In their absence, Ava took very good care of all guests.
In an of itself, Coyote Inn is fabulous. Its location, in a residential neighborhood that's just a short walk to Palm Canyon Drive, just adds to the package.
A lovely spot to visit. Look forward to going back.

Palm Springs was not on our original itinerary when we decided to visit California. We got talked into it and I am so glad that we went. What made it so absolutely amazing was the Coyote Inn. The owners, Mary and Gary, were so welcoming and friendly. We stayed in 2 different rooms and both were superb. Walking out from our room to the courtyard and pool was always breath-taking. The view from our chaise lounges was to die for, the privacy of the inn was excellent and it was so quiet!! Yet, within a five minute walk, we could experience the lively night life and great restaurants of downtown Palm Springs. I would return to the Coyote Inn every year if possible. It is the only place to stay in the Palm Springs area!
