When we arrived last night, we were given room 215. As you can see by the first 5 pictures I have included, we noticed that aside from one of the drawers being full of hangers and tags, the room was dirty and had not been cleaned. There was hair on the floor, there was hair in the drawer, there was a sticky substance in the drawer by the Bible, there was a sticky substance that had fallen between the two dressers, there was a sticky substance on the dresser, there were fingerprints on the drawer handle, and clearly, the room had not been cleaned, certainly not sanitized. The Ottoman to the sofa bed had stains all over it. In the closet, on top of the sheets and blankets for the sofa bed, there was a wadded up sheet that somebody had stuck up there.

On top of that, the keys did not work to room 215, and I had to go downstairs and get two more keys.

We were moved to room 246 (I believe), and my wife checked on the room. It was also dirty. There were bugs in the room, and food on the nightstand. Plus, there was hair on the bed.

We were then given room 340. It was also dirty, but by that time we were so exhausted, that we just wanted to go to bed. When I took my shoes off, I wondered what I was stepping on. When I woke up this morning, it was clear that there were items all over the floor. It had not been vacuumed, and appeared not to have been cleaned. As you can see by the pictures, there were numerous items on the floor.

In the bathroom, there were hairs near the towels, and in the shower stall. The glass shower enclosure had something splashed on the outside of it near the toilet. You will notice that where the new roll of toilet paper should be, it was a used role. You gave me a new one when I went downstairs. When I went to replace it and pulled off the old, used roll, there was a Kleenex tissue that was dirty on the inside of it. I threw them away, and washed my hands. The nightstand with the phone on it had not been wiped down. There was a ring around it where somebody had to spilled something.. It makes us concerned because we don’t know if anything had been wiped down, much less sanitized.

I was told that you were short on housekeeping staff, but if anything, with clovid-19, there should be someone make sure these rooms are cleaned and sanitized when guests leave.

When my wife made reservations, she was told that there is no room service while the guests are staying in the rooms, but that they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after guests leave. This is obviously not the case.

As you can see by other pictures that I showed you, but I am not including in this email, the hallways appear as if they have not been vacuumed in a while.

We are here for a two night stay. We would hope that you could compensate us by giving one of the nights free. We are members of the Mariott club. We have been for quite some time.. The only reason we stayed here, is that we had to come for a funeral. We certainly hope that if for some reason you cannot give us one night free during our stay, that you would at least give us enough points for a night stay at a Marriott hotel somewhere.

We thought that rather than put a negative review on TripAdvisor, it would be appropriate if we try to resolve this with you first.

We spoke with the manager on June 14. She said they would give us 5000 points. A room for the evening would be 30,000 points. In my opinion, it was a small amount to compensate us for what we went through. She told me that there were plenty of other hotels available, but when we got on the phone, we called at least 10, and they were all booked. By that time, we were so exhausted, that we just went to sleep. My concern is that the rooms were not sanitize. We were hoping That we do not test positive for Clovid-19 within the next two weeks.

We took pictures of everything, however we were only allowed to post 10 pictures on this review.

I am sending this to the corporate offices, as well. If you stay at one of the Marriott properties, I suggest that you inspect the room very carefully, especially with the possibility of catching Clovid-19. We were also quite surprised to find that they did not put plastic bags in any of the trash cans. When asked about it, we were informed that they don’t do that anymore, but they just sanitize the trash cans.

Brand new! Laminate flooring in the room, probably better, more sanitary than carpet. Plenty of electric outlets and USB power ports. LG TV on a swing arm so you can watch almost anywhere in the room, including from the comfy love seat. Large shower, big enough for 2, no tub though. Foot stand? In the shower for those of you that shave their legs. My wife, the germaphobe, would stay here!

Really wonderful stay, nicely laid out, rooms are spacious and contemporary. Brand new as far as I can see. Nice bathrooms and a sweet restaurant and bar area. Check-in was seamless using my Bonvoy app. Mary at the front desk was lovely and so helpful. Check out was easy and like most Marriott’s a 12 pm checkout or the best ever. Note tho... It would have been nice to know a church was holding services there. The hotel walls are thin or sound travels. The night we stayed full of parents with their children for some sporting event. Other than that I really enjoyed it there.

The hotel is fairly new and offers complimentary parking as well as wifi but we were unable to connect. There is a small restaurant in the lobby area, but not always open. It would be ok for breakfast and maybe a drink in the afternoon but not for dinner, due to its location. Standard guest rooms are very small and just strangely arranged. Due to its placement of the bed and design of the nightstand, you can not open the drawers. There is no real headboard and the whole room displays that they are trying to cut corners and save.
Loose handles on the cabinets, and toilet paper holders that are not attached properly are just a few examples to make you feel uncomfortable and not welcome. Room amenities include a refrigerator, coffee maker and connections for your electronic devices.
The bathroom has a huge walk in shower which is nice. A pool and spa is on site as well as a outside lounge area with fire place.
Overall the hotel is clean but the details show guest comfort is not the highest priority.

This is not worth the amount of money you have to pay. There was no microwave in the room. The refrigerator was extremely slim and small. There was not complimenary breakfast. Overrall, terrible hotel to stay at.
