“Great bay front lunch”
Reviewed 19 January 2012

Go for both the food and the view. Good Reubens, French dip and brats. Friendly folk.

“Classic faire”
Reviewed 13 January 2012

I think the roast beef sandwich is a standout; its sliced thin, piled high and they provide the condiments such as horseradish, etc. There split pea soup is to walk a mile for and is only offered on Mondays (call to make certain they havent changed the day). The fish and chips provide generous amounts of fish but could be seasoned a bit better because the fish batter is very bland. They offer beer, wine and non alcoholic bevs. You can eat in or outside. Very casual atmosphere and is a local favorite.

“Good home made mustard”
Reviewed 8 January 2012

Brat and sauerkraut taste great with their home made mustard. Very accommodating staff. Nice patio with wind protection to enjoy the bay.

“Found my Cheeseburger in Paradise”
Reviewed 30 December 2011

Being a Jimmy Buffett fan .......... I discovered a long time ago that my Cheeseburger in Paradise was to be found at the Hofbrau in Morro Bay, California. I have been going to eat there for 30 years - back to when it was at the south end of the Bay. A Cheeseburger and a cold draft beer .... all I need is Jimmy Buffett to come along and sing :)
