This is a very quaint and rustic property large hearth fireplace pool table full bar outdoor dining with stop there many times on motorcycle trips staff is friendly the place is neat but a little dusty as most Mountain ateas, nothing a cold beer can’t wash down! We recently entered into the mountain top chefs festival and craft beer and wine tasting
Surprisingly I want the best entrée and dessert category which will be on the menu for one year be sure to order the lasagna and Tarimsu.

The bad news:
There is almost nowhere else to go.
The good news:
This place is not bad.
We ate here every night of our three night stay at the Fivespot Cabin (see review) and was pleasantly surprised. Not a great selection of beer but found a decent local brew and bartenders whipped up a couple of decent bloody marys’. Had salads, pasta, quesadilla which were good. Not crazy about the taco’s on taco Tuesday. Prices are reasonable as was the service. Locals are friendly as are their dogs. The place is very rustic so be prepared for locals coming in after a hard day of work and possibly a visit from a dog while you are at your table. Everything seemed clean but very well used/enjoyed.

The Pinehurst Lodge is a bar and grill, no frills type restaurant. We had very tasty burgers there and enjoyed the local color (funny signs, moosehead on the wall, saloon atmosphere).

While at grant grove, we had to have a choice from the concession there (as in not eat their food again) so drove down to this historic, local, nice place for dinner. I loved the Rough Fire burger and its history--basic fare but a cool place to go and nice to get away from the park tourist scene and expensive, mediocre choices. Plenty to drink there, too.
