This little restaurant was across the road from the Millwood Inn and Suites where we were staying for one night. It didn't look too impressive from outside but inside it was nicely done in simple Japanese decor. When we arrived we had the restaurant to ourselves, but after a while it started to fill up with a mostly Japanese clientele, a very good sign. My husband had chicken teriyaki, and I had shrimp and vegetable tempura, and we both had a salad and miso soup. Everything was fresh and very well prepared. It seemed like the restaurant was attached to La Quinta Hotel but was definitely well above the usual hotel restaurant standard. A very good meal. Domo Arigatou.

We had 3 appetizers and 2 entrees and all were tasty. Food is well prepared. Items were cooked well and there were not any weird sauces added that one sometimes gets. Portions were ample and Bill about $50, without drinks

Set into a hotel, this place is a real gem. Very good food, large portions at very reasonable prices. We were the only non-Japanese on two visits! Worth a drive to get such good food!

It seems that we were the only non-Japanese customers at this restaurant, but we were greeted and treated with understanding and care. The food, which for us was crisp lotus roots and tempura shrimp, followed by green tea ice cream, was delicious. It was a delight to step into Japan a brief walk away from our motel.
