Went here after we had a day of running errands and too tired to cook. The penne arrabiatte was very good, but if you don't like spicy hot, watch out. The lasagna my wife had was pretty good too. Tasty, firm without falling apart when you tried to cut into it.
Went a second time to order pizza to go. We waited a bit and it would have been nice if we were offered a glass of ice tea or water as we waited.
Front desk young lady was a bit shy and soft spoken, not sure it helped our first impression, however our serve when we did sit for dinner the first time, more than made up for it. Friendly and prompt with good recommendations.

The food here is excellent, their marinara is some of the best I've had and their pizzas are good as well. Well worth the visit, maybe after you go to the Orcutt ranch for some fresh foods, it's just across the street

Giuseppe's is a traditional Italian restaurant in the quiet West Hills neighborhood. It has indoor seating with usual booths and a quaint outdoor patio that is especially pleasant in summer evenings. Service is always friendly.

Their entrées are large, rich and homemade tasting. They come with a choice of salad bar or caesar salad (both are very good and plentiful) and a soup.

Calamari appetizer is very good. For main entrées we especially enjoy their various shrimp and salmon dishes as well as their chicken parmesan and baked eggplant.

House wine served in carafes is OK. Prices are good especially for their portion size.

I do miss the Sunday Brunch they used to have a few years ago and I hope that they bring it back.

It is a nice casual place to have a quiet meal. We sat outside on the patio and had the baked goat cheese special. yum! They have different specials all the time. The pizza was great and the owner came by and said hello.

We visited Giuseppe's since it was right across the street from Orcutt Ranch. It has an old timey Italian restaurant atmosphere, dark and comfortable. Pizza was OK, good for West Coast. Bread and appatizers were good. Lemon gelato was a great sweet treat. Good value overall. Service was friendly.
