The lobby of this hotel is under construction, but it looks like they will soon be done. They were putting the finishing touches on the lobby bar. We were not inconvenienced by the construction. The staff at the check-in desk were friendly and efficient. The elevators are fast and there was never a wait. Due to their four round tower design, none of the rooms are very far from the elevators. The bell desk delivered our luggage quickly after we were checked in. The room was small, but not unreasonable for a downtown hotel in a large city. The bathroom was clean and in good repair. The beds (2 double) were very soft and comfortable. There was no problems with noise, but we were on a high floor. The pool area was clean and the pool was very warm and had a nice deep end. The only downsides was that there was a charge for wireless internet ($12.95) It really should be free. The parking was kind of high too, $35/night.

Room has been remodeled. Kind of small. But housekeeping department is not up to standard. No room cleaning for one day until I was back in the evening. Took an hour to clean the room. Did not replenish towels. Luck that I was travel solo. Left same day newspaper on the desk and they threw it away. Never experience such service. Can hear all my neighbor water flushing. I mean really loud noise.

Overrated. The best thing about this place was the location and the elevators (so Fast!) it's in the heart of downtown so you can walk to fantastic bars, clubs, restaurants, cafes and venues. But for the price, I think most people can do better. If you stay here then remember to check-in early, I didn't and got stuck with a double bed. The rooms are small clean, have nice beds and generally offer nice views of downtown depending on your floor level (35 total). They charge $35 for overnight parking and there's no free-wi-fi. Overall it's nice, but not that nice for the prices they charge.

This hotel, with its four circular towers connected to a fifth central tower, has been featured in many TV shows (see its Wikipedia article). The interior continues the circular theme, with oval fountains (drained and turned off during my visit), rounded seating areas (the central fifth floor is a good place to be alone in the crowd), and elongated glass elevators. The front desk told me that I'd been placed in a recently renovated room; I was pleased by its clean and modern feel.

Although the room's wedge shape is unusual, it's necessary when you have circular towers. The room's big enough. The internet ($12.95/24 hours, wired and wireless) is too slow to watch video, but is OK for checking e-mail and basic web surfing. A few unnecessary amenities were missing (i.e., the robe hanger had no robe and the minibar was empty), but that didn't affect my stay at all.

The hotel restaurant serves a pricy breakfast buffet, but I also had a delicious and reasonably priced dinner at the Bonaventure Brewing Company restaurant.

If I'd gotten the low rates some others have posted, I'd highly recommend it. As it is, there are a few other hotels in the neighborhood equally as nice at lower price points.

Stayed here for a conference. Huge hotel. Clearly still re-modeling, fountains in lobby not operational. I arrived very early (10am) and the hotel called my cell as soon as they had a room for me, which was 11:30 - nice! The room itself was very nice with a great view, lovely linens, etc. My only complaint is no outlet near the bed for phone charging. I asked for a late checkout (2pm) and they accommodated me immediately. All staff interactions were positive, from front desk to stowing luggage. They do have a place to print boarding passes, but no business center. There is a place on the second floor that says it is a "Business Center" but it is not affiliated with the hotel and charges for use. There are several restaurants in or near the hotel, and some shops, though some are gone, no doubt due to the recession. Good facility for conferences.
