It was a very nice hotel, comfortable and clean with friendly staff. Breakfast in the breakfast restaurant was perfect. The only negative was, I ate twice in the bar/dinner restaurant, and both times the food could have been better.

However, it is disappointing that you were not fully impressed with your meal for dinner at our restaurant. We stayed there for 3 nights and reserved for another nigth for our return from las vegas. When we arrived, there where no reservation and they could only give us a double room with two beds (please note that we were on vacation for our 10th, aniversary), so we toke it and made another reservation for the next week for another 2 days. When we arrived for those last 2 days, we tried to speak to the manager and he was not able to contact us never. It seems that he does not care the opinion of their customers, even though we asked for him at least 5 times those last 2 days.
Also note that if you are looking to rest, this is not the proper hotel for that, it has the "Nixon restaurant" with live music that you can clearly and loudly hear it even if you are staying in the 9th floor

We flew to LA to attend an awards show and this hotel was the PERFECT location for anyone attending anything at the Microsoft theater or general area. From the minute we booked Nicholas at the concierge desk was wonderful! He helped us to secure dining reservations, helped us with transportation needs, tours, and even what time to arrive at the awards show!
Rooms were clean and spacious. The decor was unique and well themed. All the staff members we encountered were wonderful and friendly. We did not eat at the hotel during our short stay so cannot offer any report on that area.
If returning to LA I would stay here again, definitely!

We stayed here after a Kings game across at Staples on a Sat night. We got back to our room at 9:45pm, which was located on 3rd floor, Room 309. The room was directly above the bar and had live music. We could actually sit back and record the music from the bathroom from our phone. That is how loud it was. We called the front desk and no one answered. My husband went down to ask for a different room but we were told there is no night manager and they were booked so we couldn't change rooms. We didn't sleep until 11:45pm that night. The band stopped playing around 12:10am. The next morning we checked out and asked to speak with another manager and of course there was none. It was very unprofessional. The front desk clerk didn't ask if she could take down our information, which she could have easily done from our reservation, but instead directed us to call them when the manager did get in later that day. They didn't even have a business card at the front desk so she had to walk up the steps to their offices, which took another 15 minutes, and was not able to even find a business card. It was very disappointing and very unorganized. Next time we won't even bother staying here because it's so close to Staples. Our friends stayed at The Marriott and got a peaceful night sleep!

We didn't eat any meals on the property mainly bxz we had other places already lined up but this hotel I would visit again. And I love water. The guy didn't tell me no (I hate the word no) he gave me one!
