During the "Great 50's craze" of the 80's this was my home away from home. It's one of those places you remember fondly from your youth, and then you go back to try to relive the experience, and it doesn't work. Now I understand the meaning of "greasy spoon". I suppose if you missed the whole thing, you could go in and get a "black and white" shake and fries. Even if you don't like the food, it's fun to see all the ads on the wall extolling the virtues of Camel cigarettes, 4 out of 5 doctors recommend them, or actual Playboy centerfolds from the 50s that literally show less skin than network television does today in primetime.
