In the Art District on a cute alley just off of Mateo Street. A cute intimate cafe with great coffee drinks, fresh juices and yummy inventive small dishes. This is a breakfast/lunch place, so make sure you get here before closing time at 4pm. For breakfast we had heirloom potato tacos with cheese and quinoa bowl with greens. Outdoor seating, great music playing and really nice people. Super charming!

LOVE this small café. Organic and with a very home cooked approach. The setting is beautiful and serene. It's great for breakfast or lunch when in the Arts District area.

Best food, best location, best staff.

You wouldn't even expect a place like this in downtown Los Angeles, but it's exists, and it is consistently amazing.

You'd never see this place casually, you have to come looking for it, and when you find yourself walking up to the entrance, get ready to be in a long zen patio. After you order in the quaint storefront, it's easy to spend a long time with a book, your laptop, a friend or even just enjoying the birds chirping. One of my fav spots to go for a leisurely cup of joe (and the off the chart Farmers Sandwich)

DTLA Artist District. I'm a Fan. Pretty sure I've had most of the menu. For sandwiches, salads, coffee, lunch, nutella, al fresco only, fast easy meals I recommend. Parking isn't that fun as far as I know and I'm sure if you've never been it may be tricky to find the first time but look for the sign on the sidewalk, it's worth it.
