I stayed here one night with my wife and two kids to avoid the drive to LAX from the Inland Empire in the morning. Got a great Hotwire rate of under $100 and so the $30 daily valet parking fee, still made it worth it. Nice valet parking people. Only downside was that there seemed to be a little road noise in the background all night long. No biggie. Great location close to the airport. We didn't eat here, just popped in and out so it was a rather quick visit and it served our purposes.

Had a quick one night stay at the property last month and overall, it was average, nothing to complain but nothing to praise either.

Since I had a rented car, I made my own way from the airport to the hotel but for those without transport, there is a shuttle that runs from the airport to the hotel. The room itself was basic, with a coffee maker and basic bathroom amenities (i.e. shampoo, shower gel, conditioner). Being a Westin, there was of course the heavenly bed which was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. Valet service was pretty efficient. I didn't call ahead for my car before going to the lobby but it still came in 2-3 minutes, despite the large number of guests that day.

I would certainly choose this hotel again on my next stopover at LAX.

We spent in The Westin our last night of staying in California. Since our plane was in the morning, we wanted to be close to the airport.

We decided to book the hotel through a site which offer several deals, therefore the price we paid was very low. We expected to get to a simple hotel, average quality, but we were totally wrong! When we arrived to the hotel we were very (and happily) surprised!

The lobby is huge, the staff is lovely. They gave us a room on the 10th floor which is dedicated to preferred guests and gave us also access to the lounge. The room was very big, on top of that we had 2 Queen size beds!
Everything was very clean, but the best part were the pillow and the bed itself: the best I have ever tried.
Even though the hotel is very close to the LAX, we barely heard any plane.

Since we were at the end of our honeymoon, they offered us the american breakfast served in the lounge. It is a very simple breakfast but offers everything you need.

This hotel is a short drive from LAX. It's serviced every 15 -20 mins by a free shuttle.
It has one restaurant - the daily grill - where the food is great and service excellent.
Bathrooms are a bit dated/tired but very clean, with new towels and good quality soap, etc.
Beds and pillows are outstanding.
Over the road is the pickup point for the $5 shuttle to Manhattan Beach etc. it leaves on the hour and is well worth it if you have a couple of hours to kill.
Very good gym On level three, with lots of the latests Lifecycle equipment.

I recently attended a conference at the Westin LA Airport. The free shuttl service from the airport was great. The meetings were set up nicely, but the rooms were very chilly so bring a sweater. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially in the restaurant, bar, and at conference lunches and breakfasts. The room left something to be desired. The makeup mirror was grungy and dusty, there was dust on the lamp, and the furniture had multiple large gouges and dings. I had a room that had a door to the adjacent room. My neighbors stayed up late and I could hear them clearly, not to mention the bright light that shone from under the door until they decided to retire. Make sure to ask for a room without an adjoining room. The noise from the planes could be drowned out by turning on the fan.

Room Tip: Ask for a room without an adjoining room.
