small exhibits. too cloudy to see the telescopic images. Very knowledgable staff. Lots of school groups, so we did not do the IMAX

“WOW!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 March 2012

We were hoping for a good view of the Hollywood sign, and we got so much more! The views are spectacular, and that's an understatement. The Observatory was not yet open for the day, and that's a reason for a return visit. Also fun was the statue and plaque of James Dean, since part of Rebel Without a Cause was shot at this location.
