We visited Universal Studios in March 2011, the weather was great not too hot and not cold, about 22 C
Universal Studios is where to enjoy each and child and adult!
May disappoint a long wait for each amusement, so we read the reviews beforehand and tips on buying a "Front of line" ticket to enter for each show without waiting
It seems even without waiting in line a full day at Universal Studios is not enough!
We liked everything! Most impressed tour King kong in 3D experience unforgettable, just super realistic, Simpsons ride, you find yourself in a cartoon, a spectacular amusement, Terminator - performance mixed with 3 D, studio special effects, and many many many more!! Advise on opportunity to see everything!

Likes: studio tour - definitely worth it! You will see Wisteria Lane from Desperate Housewives!
Show "Waterworld" - nice special effects and fireworks
Ride "the mummy" - a real roller coaster in complete darkness
Dislikes: Rides "Simpsons" and "Transformers" - they are not actual roller coasters. Just sitting in a car with a 3D movie around you
Show "terminator" - a little outdated
All in all its still worth it, alone for the studio tour. But we had expected more real roller coasters.

I'd give this place five stars if it wasn't so horribly LOUD. Everywhere you go, there's music and announcements blaring from loudspeakers; it's relentless. The rides and shows are excellent, and a nice change of pace from the roller coaster type rides typical of most amusement parks. That said, I won't be going back any time soon just because of the assault on the ears.

I've been to Universal in Orlando a few times, but never California until now. Went on a Saturday expecting long waits and was pleasantly surprised. Longest time was at the park entrance purchasing the tickets, as each consumer was offered a lengthy pitch for annual passes and a variety of other ticket options. There are electronic signs listing wait times and every single one overestimated the time needed to wait. Every employee (or cast member) was friendly, helpful and energetic. Park was very clean. We ate in Hard Rock at City Walk and had a happy experience there as well. Take you kids, friends, family and go!! One more thing - not for those with tight wallets. Entrance for 1 day is $80!!!!!!

There are just not enough attractions. We spent most of our time walking around lost or standing in the waiting area of rides. The park is dirty, especially the walls downstairs in the queue for Simpsons. We liked the tour, Simpsons, Transformers and Waterworld. I wish they'd use cheaper actors for Waterworld and then spend that money they save on the park.
