I have passed by High Hand Nursery and the Conservatory on several occasions, but decided to give it a try for lunch with a friend. First, it is not required, but you really need to make reservations because the restaurant is very busy-even during the week for lunch. We sat inside the Conservatory and although I wanted to sit outside, it was absolutely beautiful inside. The tables have quite a bit of space between them so you don't feel like you are sitting right next to other diners. It is a very relaxing atmosphere nestled inside the actual nursery. The setting is beautiful and either while waiting for lunch or after, you can stroll through all of the plants. My favorite thing about High Hand is that they observe the "farm to fork" idea of serving local produce. It is a great restaurant that still has a small town feel. Service was excellent and portions large.
