American kitchen is located in an 80 year old farmhouse that is now surrounded by downtown Lafayette. There are two separate dining rooms plus an outdoor seating area. Menu choices are plentiful including lamb chops, Chicken breast, pork ribs, meatloaf, and the catch of the day. There are about two dozen wines by the glass with some very nice selections. I recommend the Fidelity Merlot from the Alexander Valley. The ambiance is low-key and the staff are very friendly and the owner and the chef de Cuisine were also present and checking on everyone. Metered parking is available.
