Stopped by at this restaurant on the way from LAX to Brea. Busy on a Saturday night, but I was quickly seated and service was helpful, friendly and speedy. I had the ceviche and the Lomo Salteado, with a couple of bottles of Cristal. Quality was reasonable, quantity on the large side (most folk probably wanted a doggie bag, though). Menu was seafood focused (reasonably, given the name), but lacked many of the classics (eg, tiradito, causa, aji de gallina), which was rather disappointing. Decor: looked like a converted Dennys. Price as would be expected.

I've been passing this restaurant for the last 5 years and finally stopped this week to try it. The complimentary bread was cold, i wish it was atleast warmed but you can't expect much. I ordered the fried calamari and lomo saltado. The serving was plenty for the calamari, good for 4 of us, the "salsa" sauce that came with it was a good compliment to the squid. The lomo saltado was the clear winner here, good flavor and i was surprised how good the fries was when sauteed with the beef and onions. The "seasoned" rice was good too. My in law ordered her with sunny side up egg, I suggest you do this as well. The runny yolk kicks up the flavor profile, alot creamier. The restaurant itself looks like it should be visited by Diners, Drive-in, and Dives. The food is a little on the expensive side compared to diner-style restaurants. Calamari was $10+ and lomo saltado is $12+.

Our family gets food to go from this place - we like the beef, potato, onion with white rice. I dont know what it is called, but it is the best.

It is worth a try. I was introduced to this place by a Peruvian, and they said it is good & authentic. So worth a try if you want authentic.

The inside is a worse version of a Dennys or old Norms.
