They serve many different options of cocktails and somewhat limited tasty appetizers for a reasonable price. $1.00 oyster special every Sunday. You must go.

I was there last night for a business meal and ordered the 6 oz medium rare filet mignon. It was overcooked and over seasoned, which was true of the mushroom side dish too.If our server had come and asked, I would have informed them that it was overcooked, but there was no sign of her for a long time and I didn't want to make a fuss at a business meal. Not impressed.

Chef Justin Braly was out, because his wife was about to give birth, bujt the sous-chef did an amazing job. We started off with a rich melted brie and honey (we shared everything at no charge), followed by Ahi Tuna Poke , Jumbo Crab cake and Lamb Lollipop, a creation what might have earned the chef a Michelin star in Europe. The Ferrari Carano Merlot 2011 was excellent for a mere $11 a glass, the service was perfect and friendly (Aaron derserves credit for that) and the sunset view magnificent. Finally, the Anniversary cake we ordered was perfect and to our delight, offred by the house. MUST visit when in La Jolla! Reservation in the weekend seems a good idea,

We were pleasantly surprised by how great this restaurant was! To enter the restaurant, you go down a flight of stairs so we didn't realize that the restaurant had such a wonderful ocean view. Although we didn't love the cocktails we ordered, the steaks were wonderful…perfectly cooked and flavored. We ordered sauces to go along with them, but they were unnecessary since the steak was so good. The service was wonderful and the view lovely. Highly recommended!

This was our last night in California and we couldn't have been more dissatisfied. The cuts of meat were consistent with a low end steakhouse and the majority of the food was cold. The baked potatoes were horrifically over-cooked. Not impressed. No table visit by any manager and the server never asked what we thought because she knew we were pissed.
