Stayed here for 2 nights and really wish we hadn't bothered. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. We wondered why people questioned why we were staying there due to it's far out location but there really is no reason to stay at this place unless every single other hotel is full. The woman on reception did not really speak english and was evidently not expecting our arrival even though we had booked the day before and arrived at the stated time. She asked me for our bill and didn't seem to believe that we had booked already. This resulted in me having to show her my e-mails to prove our booking which was quite an invasion of privacy. She tried to charge us $30 per night for a standard twin room even though we had booked on hostel world for $7.50 per person. The room had no window and had been strongly sprayed with air freshener to disguise the damp problem which was evident from the state of the wall. The shower was 5 foot high and couldn't be adjusted which made showering very awkward. There is a night porter who consistently asked us if we wanted to make a booking every time we came back to our room which didn't really give us the friendly vibe. The staff members were also very loud and talked unneccessarily on walkie talkies right outside our room. Most importantly, this hotel felt so empty. Most of the room doors were left open for airing which made the place feel eerie. The location is awful as well since the road is not well lit so you would have to get a tuk-tuk everywhere. Overall, bad location, bad service and no amenities whatsoever.
