Was a nice quiet hotel we found right off the highway. It is small and a little hard to find but the room was decent sized and was clean. Had a breakfast and a pool which was nice. Overall, would come back.

Ideal experience...quiet, off the road, owner continually making improvements. Pet friendly: You say 'Jackson Lodge' to the dog and she jumps up and down and is ready to go! Nice living-room type lobby. Modest but adequate free breakfast. Clean heated pool. You don't feel fleeced about the room rates. For those needing handicapped accessibility, special facilities have recently been completed. Friendly resident owners.

It is not inexpensive to stay in Jackson, California. It is a beautiful and serene location, a city almost trapped in time. One is transported back in time a hundred years, walking streets that have changed little since then. This fascinating ambiance, as one may expect, is not cheap. The diners and all the hotels save this one are expensive. The very reasonably priced Jackson Lodge is a price respite in this time-lost town. But the affordability does not come with scrimping on amenities. Our room, the least expensive in town, was very large and included a fridge, microwave, large TV, very comfortable King bed, a table and chairs and breakfast. The owner or manager, not sure which, was extremely pleasant and thoughtful, willing to help with anything it seemed, however, everything was already provided. We lazily overstayed out check-out time and for this received nothing but graciousness. This will be the motel we stay in from now on.

Room Tip: Almost all rooms have views of the wilderness beyond.

A little pricey with tax we paid a little over $130 with tax. I would think the Rooms should be no more than $85 A night

The room was clean and roomy. The bed was comfortable. The microwave didn't work and the pool wasn't heated as it stated.

For one night it was good plus for an extra $15 cash you can bring your dog.

The Jackson Rancheria Hotel is an excellent place to stay. Very clean and very comfortable beds. The Buffet was delicious with lots of variety. The casino was also very clean and not very noisy. We really enjoyed our stay.
