I know this place as Perry's, as it was described to me that way by a local. It took me a while to find the right place to review because, it's actually called The Inverness Park Market. I love their food. You can eat it in their open space with tables next door which also features lovely local art, or take it with you.
While they have unusual, from the land choices like Nettles Soup, (which was actually deliciously soft & creamy despite being both nettles and vegan) they also have old fashioned comfort foods like pulled pork sandwiches, pot pies, etc. Their dinner specials are priced like a nice restaurant at around $20 but, are as good or better than most $20 entree's in restaurants. If you are gluten free, soy free, etc. but travel with "normal" eaters, this has something for everyone. The atmosphere is a general store that has high quality supplies for a picnic or even daily grocery shopping, hard wood floors, homey and comforting.
One of the teas supplied is my favorite, Organic India Tulsi. They carry most of the flavors in their regular tea choices. Their coffee is great, and already waiting in a thermos. The staff is efficient so, you can reasonably be in and out of their more quickly than a McDonald's but, with nourishment that is organic, thoughtful, and delicious!
