This is a grand old building with an interesting history. Not only is the manor beautiful so is the park around - very nice and peaceful surroundings.
The restaurant downstairs in the cellar had a decent dinner and adequate breakfast - the old arched ceiling and friendly service making it a positive experience.
Also the reception was very friendly and the hotel was tidy.
After having give only appraising notes, it is noteworthy to notice that the building is not restored in any was to its grandeur - it is tidy and adequate, but in no means luxury in any way Then again one should not expect that either - with the low prices that they have.More
