Ate here again because the first time was so good. They have many new dishes that just are so good you want more. We had the Sea Bass over fresh roasted garden vegetables and the Rib Eye. The live music, Jazz, on this Sunday evening was like out of a #1 festival. I suggest coming early around 4:30 get a seat at the cozy bar and have Jason the bartender take good care of you over some great music. Lori, the owner and her Husband Frank the Chef are both fun to be around. Eating outside in front or patio in the woods outback. Cozy upstairs too with more private and quite, romantic seating.

Don't understand why this is rated #10. We thought the food was outstanding. My oysters were fresh & luscious. The quinoa salad is a must try. My husband said his rib eye was perfection. We ate upstairs while downstairs there was live music and a lively crowd. Our server Kati, was excellent.

I had a wonderful dinner there. The food was fresh & tasty, at the end I 'cleansed my Palate with a bowl of fresh Berry sorbet' which was divine ..... So many of the dishes were fresh and handmade and it tasted like it! Service and atmosphere was perfect. It was Saufley lit with music playing very tasty music that went to many different genres.

The food here is yummy -- 5 stars for sure! The kids and husband had pasta and I had eggplant with polenta. We happily slurped down every bite.

The atmosphere was strange. The restaurant was empty on a Thursday night at 7:00. We were seated upstairs (alone). Music was blaring from the speakers right above our heads. We love music. But really classic rock at a nice Italian joint? We couldn't hear our kids talk -- the vibe was all off. The waitress just kept coming back trying to take dishes ..... we were in and out in an hour.

The food is excellent and we wanted to stay, have another drink, and order dessert, but the noise of the waitress and the sound system forced us out.

My wife and I came up to Idyllwild to celebrate her birthday and stayed at the Grand Idyllwild Lodge (another great find) and ate at Ferro the first night of our extended weekend stay.

We had 7:00 reservations, arrived promptly, and were seated immediately. The service was prompt, friendly, and efficient.

The food was incredible! We shared a Cesar salad, the filet with blue cheese, and a side order of cremini mushrooms. Everything was phenomenal. The Cesar salad was one of the best I have ever had, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the mushrooms were an extremely tasty accompaniment.

All in all, a very pleasant surprise in this small mountain community. We live in LA and this meal rivaled any of the best meals we have had in the city.
