Full disclosure: I have never left any Trip Advisor reviews before, but this place really left an impression and I would like to help them out.

My wife and I was trying to find a hotel for a weekend getaway at Lake Tahoe and found Cedar Crest Cottages online. Despite the lack of reviews online (which was due to the fact that they opened only months ago), we decided to give it a try and we were blown away!

Upon arriving, we were greeted in the parking lot and given a tour through our cottage (which was cottage 3, Osprey), which was newly renovated within the last 6 months. In fact, we were also wondering what the 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom cottages look like and they were kind enough to give us tours for them too. Now, the term cottage was an absolute understatement for Cedar Crest Cottages because the interior was designed and laid out like a home in a modern design magazine. The full kitchen with a full sized fridge, induction stove top, oven, microwave, dish washer, garbage disposal, pots, pans, plates, silver ware, aluminum foil, and may more. There was also in-cottage washer and dryer for anyone loving outdoor activities or have kids. The bedding in the bedrooms are of great quality as well. Last but not least, free wifi and bluetooth sound system rounded out the cottage features.

The location of Cedar Crest Cottages was also great for us. It was situated away from the hustle and bustle of tourists but still conveniently close to Tahoe City, Squaw Valley, and Emerald Bay which offers a variety of different activities in the summer as well as winter.

We would definitely recommend anyone looking for a getaway in Lake Tahoe to check out Cedar Crest Cottages!

Room Tip: Las habitaciones mas retiradas del parqueadero en mi opinión son más tranquilas por estar más retiradas de la vía
