I must begin with a disclaimer of sorts in that the owner is an acquaintance of mine who did a magnificent job as chef at nearby Mediterraneo. Finally she has her own place. Now she works the front of the house as well as the back.
Most of the dishes are simple but with her old skills intact, presented beautifully. Simple can be very good indeed. At Mediterraneo she would knock me out with her tapas and pintxos. When I had breakfast at The Source last week I ordered a toast smeared with avocado and topped off with sliced radish. Simple yes, but thoughtful and delicious.
