Arrived on a Friday at 7:30pm. While we made a reservation about 10 minutes before arrival, it wasn't necessary. Only restaurant in a local neighborhood. Free wifi available.
Ordered most of the non-sushi items, like chicken and beef teriyaki, child's tempura and California roll, and seafood udon. The chicken and beef were just grilled meat with teriyaki sauce on the side. Seafood udon was loaded with fish (salmon, scallops) and other ingredients. We had so much, even after we ate what we could, the take-out container was completely filled.
The most interesting item was the California hand roll. My child got two rolls, and it was wrapped in something edible that was not standard seaweed.
We saw many other customers get chirashi bowls with large quantities of fish. Their presentation was artistic. We were seated across from the sushi bar and could see all the preparation.
Service was OK. When the restaurant got busier, had to flag the waiter down.
Only downside is the price. I paid a lot for non-sushi items that seemed average. The upside is that there is great quantity in all restaurant menu items.
