Yes, this B&B is an absolute treat, hidden in the hills of Groveland.
The house is an amazing building, offering a piano room, reading room, billiard room, and dinner room. All beautifully decorated - just as the rooms.
The delicious breakfast changes every day, is arranged with love, and served with a smile. You really feel that the whole family want to make that stay special.
Tipp: When going out for dinner - make sure you leave a bit of room for one of the afternoon/evening treats that are served in the dining room with a glass of port or brandy. The cakes, scones, etc. are freshly made and so good - they must not be missed.

We stayed here over Father's Day and it was wonderful. The host was so gracious and kind. Our room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast both days was delicious and very generous with the amount. We asked to have ours a little early and they provided. We ate out on the screened in porch and loved it. It is very close to Yosemite and that makes the drive there a lot quicker. Would gladly stay here again!!!!

We booked this place after reading all the high praise reviews on here, and it certainly didn't disappoint. We had a wonderful stay. The breakfasts are very tasty. The B&B is very nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable. Overall, excellent stay here!

Me and My Family cannot thank Scelestia Cook, her Mom and Sister enough! Our family of 7 drove in from Las Vegas (8 hours) for the start of a 3 day Yosemite vacation on Monday, June 26th. We arrived at 8 pm that night to our VRBO only to discover it was infested with ants. After calling unsuccessfully local hotels we contacted the Yosemite Rose and found out that their ranch house was available. Unfortunately, Scelestia had just hosted a family renunion over the weekend and used the ranch house for family members, and were planning to clean it on Tuesday. Hearing our predicament the Cook's went into action and readied the ranch for our family. Within an hour they had it ready for us!

The Ranch house is wonderful and gave our family the chance to spread out and enjoy the 1,000 ft2 kitchen for meals. We hiked Yosemite during the day and came back to a spacious and clean home at night. Enjoying the local surrounding and viewing the 1,000s of starts that were visible from this remote location.

Scelestia went above and beyond to ensure we were settled in and had everything we needed. The Ranch house is fully stocked with plenty of kitchenware, utensils, gas grill, books, games, wifi,, etc for a large family to feel at home with no additional desires.

Have to recommend the Mexican Restaurant in Groveland (got that tip from a guest at the B&B) and look for the Large Toad that sits in the corner of the Carport. My 12 year old loved catching crickets and feeding them to it.

THANK YOU AGAIN Scelestia and family. If you are looking for a place to stay near Yosemite and Don't stay at her B&B or Ranch House you have missed out on a wonderful experience with wonderful hosts

This beautifully maintained little gem was a wonderful surprise after a hot, dusty day at Yosemite. It has the perfect combination of old-fashioned charm and modern amenities (including a very nice bathroom and air conditioning). I only stayed one night but will definitely return and stay longer.
