“Amazing boutique hotel. One of our favorite honeymoon stays.”

I love this place. It is located very close to some amazing wineries, Imagery is one to mention. At first arrival we were given wine and cheese on the house. The rooms were very modern and had an eastern vibe. The pool and hot tub were an extra bonus. The rooms are well fitted with beautiful furniture and the bathrooms and tubs are brilliant. The service was very high standard and they were very helpful in choosing different vineyards to visit. The breakfast was perfect with lots of organic and veggie options. The house has a very good vibe. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Totally worth the price.

We had a room in the old-style main house which was lovely and quaint. The room was tastefully appointed. Gorgeous home-cooked breakfasts, fresh baked cookies and friendly informative tastings.

Glen ellen is such a lovely nook in Sonoma - the trees, quiet and scenery were simply divine - very relaxing.

Service was outstanding. The warm welcome, efficient and friendly service was good. What set them apart was the extra mile. For example, when we went there, I fell in love with the coconut macaroons. I asked one of the staff about them and she said they were made on-site and that the chef was in. She came back in 5 minutes and asked if I wanted to meet the chef and that they would be happy to share their proprietary recipe. The chef ran me through how she made them and helped me write down a pared down quantity version of the recipe.

I certainly plan on going back!

Room Tip: If you prefer quaint older style (not grubby - just more antique-y) then the main house is best. New...

We were welcomed by the outstanding staff and new we had selected wisely. Our room is tastefully appointed. The European-style breakfast Is not only free, but fabulous. The fresh baked cookies and tastings are a lovely plus. Movies, parking, bottled water and wifi are all free! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is the ultimate serene place in the Sonoma wine country. The amenities and service are superb. Our Zen Suite was comfortable and spacious with a peaceful atrium. The "welcome" bottle of wine was a nice touch to go with the evening wine-and-cheese time. The food was excellent, from the home-baked cookies and breakfast pastries to the fresh-squeezed orange juice and breakfast egg dishes. Our long weekend stay was the perfect birthday gift for my husband. We splurged with massages in their spa. Try it and you'll discover that you don't want to leave the property to do anything else!

Room Tip: Zen Suites offer the best privacy, space, and atmosphere. Rooms in the victorian house have a classi...

My prior review was pulled after the owner responded. Not sure why. Our Zen Suite was very nice but I'm glad we got it at about half price as we are Joy of Life members. We had ants, but as the owner mentioned, they are in the country. The stone floors were cold. There were no slippers. We asked two different people at the desk if they have them and they said no, although the owner replied they do. So, who knows? But that was our experience. The breakfast frittata and fruit were very good as was the coffee. There is not much to do in Glenn Ellen and it lacks the charm of other Sonoma County towns such as Healdsburg or Sonoma. We will not return as there are better and more convenient places for wine tasting, strolling and dining. I coul
