The cafe is located a couple of miles south of LAX in a great little shopping area (Container store, MAC, L'Occitane etc.). We went for brunch on a Saturday morning around 9-9:30am. We did not have reservations, but the cafe does take reservation queries online. Nice variety of options on the menu. Most 'entrees' run $13-$15, but include toast (from La Brea Bakery), and choice of side. I am not an egg type person, but I selected the Gilson from the menu. The restaurant specialty, and I can see why. High quality, fresh ingredients. Tasted wonderful; would definitely order again. Our waitress was amazing; courteous, attentive, without being over-bearing. Great ambiance and decor. Definitely 2 thumbs up!

My first experience with the Marmalade Cafe in El Segundo was last night. Have driven past it many times, but never stopped in. It was a delightful evening and our waiter, Stephen, made it so. He was helpful and friendly and we felt special with all the attention he gave to us. Dinner was delicious. I had Patrick's Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes, onion gravy and a side of asparagus. It was great. Others had meatloaf and salad. They were equally delilcious. The ambiance was perfect. I recommend trying this restaurant.

Visited with family on trip to L.A. This is a really nice, somewhat upscale restaurant that serves up some fabulous breakfast offerings. Ambiance is a combo modern/rustic; menu is deep (choice is difficult!), service is fantastic.. Awesome way to start the day - highly recommended.

Busy but not too busy. The pancakes are amazing and their entrees have just the right amount of seasoning.
