Found this hotel at a great price, and it was the perfect stay. Hotel went above and beyond with everything we needed. We missed the evening reception since we checked in on a Sunday, but hear it is great. It smelled and looked brand new, but is just renovated. The double queen room was absolutely the largest room I've ever had. Tons of extra space and storage space, including a safe. Awesome tv in room and all very clean. Keurig maker and coffee, mini fridge and microwave all included. Very comfy and clean beds. Large and clean bathroom with rainfall shower head. The breakfast was way above average for this type of hotel with "continental/hot breakfast," by far the best we've ever encountered. Hot, well cooked bacon, sausage, gravy, biscuits, and egg patties. Cinnabon brand cinnamon rolls served hot, fresh fruit, yogurt including greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs peeled and ready to eat, oatmeal pot with cooked oatmeal, cereal, and to top it off, a to go section with wrapped bagels, muffins, english muffins, etc. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby all day. If we are ever back this way, we will stay again. The hotel was located in a nice, modern town center, so walkable to restaurants, etc. Perfect stay, thanks Holiday Inn express!

We were in town for a wedding and this hotel was the perfect location between Folsom and Placerville. Easy access from the freeway in located next to the Town Square Shopping Center. On a small manmade lake with walkways around the lake and up to the shops and restaurants. We booked a 1 bedroom suite that was quite large and had a sitting area and large bedroom. The room was clean and had a nice bathroom. We didn't spend a lot of time here, but were very comfortable. Parking was easy. The continental breakfast was nice, with options for everyone. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area.

Room Tip: The suites are a great size and very comfortable

I appreciate a nice clean room, this was spotless. Rooms are large, could use a sofa to relax on. Nice size tv, good bathroom and lovely pool area. Very helpful staff, location was great, plenty of dining options nearby.

This hotel is very centrally located (right in the Town Square shopping center, which is also very nice!). You can walk to the movies, any number of good restaurants, shopping and even Target is an easy distance away.

Love the fact that there is a Keurig in the room, and we had a nice view of the pool. We stayed on a Wednesday and Thursday evening, and there was a happy hour at 5 pm with wine and snacks. Always a win/win for me! Rooms are spacious and seem pretty new. All in all, a very nice stay. We would definitely stay there again should we have the need.

Not many hotels can be found out this far though this area is growing like crazy. This is a very nice hotel. The room was huge and I had a corner room so I had a lot of light. Not much of a view but that was OK I actually took a picture of room and had nothing bu empty space in it, useful if doing katas or other exercise that needs space. . There was both a microwave and refrigerator without freezer space. The room kept out noise very well. The bed was very comfortable. There was also a couch in the room There was wall desk and a clothes closet. This area has built up and so a lot of higher end shops as well as a target within walking distance. This used to be pasture land. The breakfast was incredible. I love the vegetarian omelets. I also tried out the heated outside pool and it was nice. It is a mid range hotel (150s) which I was using for a business trip which there was many others using it for the same purpose.
