“Blissful Idyll on a stunning Greek island”
Reviewed 26 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Villa Ersi is stunning throughout and is certainly comparable to a 5 star hotel equivalent. The finish to this three year old villa is very high and all you need is right there (only exception is an electric kettle and toaster...us Brits love a cuppa tea and toast !). The linen and towels are luxurious and the beds so comfortable. Great location and literally 7 minutes from the dinky little airport in Argostoli. The views are fantastic; the mountains on the left and the ocean in front where you can watch the yachts and occasional cruise liner heading to and from Argostoli. You are close to the airport but the noise is barely noticeable and it's a novelty factor seeing the planes coming in to land. The owner, Julie, is most helpful and polite - she does live in the US so there could be a delay in replying of emails and I only mention this in case you're someone who expects an immediate response ! Thank you for such a great villa Julie.

When I picked the villa for my vacation, I was impressed by villa Ersi’s photographs, it looked like a designer home made for living not renting. So the expectations were high.
And when I got to the villa, it was so amazing, even better then I imagined. You can see there is a lot of soul put into decorating this house, I loved the marine theme that is sustained by the colors (different shades of blue, grey) and different little items that make you feel close to the sea.

The house has everything you might need, every bedroom has it’s own bathroom, the kitchen is fully equipped, the living has a big comfy sofa, and the terrace by the pool is amazing. We had coffee every morning by the pool and breakfast in the dinning area which has a great view. In fact, one of the things that is so nice about this house is that you have a great view of the sea from anywhere in the house: all bedrooms, kitchen, living room.

About the area, I loved the small villages like Svoronata and Kourkumelata, you see wonderful villas and gardens everywhere. There are some good beaches close (Avithos, St Thomas) but for the most spectacular one you need to go by car.

I would like to give a big thumbs up to Julie and her family who build and designed such a wonderfull place.

PS: I loved the mason jars with candles and the vintage camera & binoculars
