We actually went here for Valentine's Day and it was fantastic. Everything was spot on for a busy night at the restaurant. Service was good and attentive, the wine service was proper and the selection was great. Maybe the best calamari I've ever had, melt in your mouth. Ahi taco dumpling thingy was awesome. Garlic Noodles solid and great lobster in it. Jumbo Prawns in a curry sauce with rice super flavorful. Just love this spot.

AnQi holds the well-deserved title of one of the most beautiful restaurants in Orange County. Aside from its exquisite beauty, the food is also exquisite--presentation and taste. Our server, Geneviev, was outstanding! Our visit could not have been more perfect! I will go back again and again.

Although in the South Coast Plaza, clearly not a mall restaurant. The furnishings, decor and ambience are high class and fancy - something that may account for the relatively high menu prices, given the quality of the menu items.

The fried lobster dumplings appetizer did not have that much lobster and were disappointing. The famous garlic noodles were quite good and tasty, but are really only a side dish. Even better though was the "shaken" beef, which was extremely tender, flavorful and toothsome, but still a bit pricey given the portion size. The green tea tiramisu was also quite good and a very interesting take on the classic dessert, but even there it was not a complete winner, since the scoop of green tea ice cream on top had a frozen middle, as if it had melted and re-frozen in some way.

I had high hopes, and while I mostly enjoyed the meal and particular selections, it was underwhelming in light of the menu prices.

Food was okay. For the price you pay, it's a little expensive. But the Ambiance is nice! Service- a little slow. It took a while for the food to come to the table even though they were just Dimsums. We had to wait too long for our check after we asked for it.

This is a really great place once you get over the fact it is in a mall. Killer ambience inside, great cocktails, great happy hour and overall excellent food! Must order their shaking beef melts in your mouth!
