Quaint, friendly and cosy motel. Owners were very helpful - left lights on and rooms open for our very late arrival. Each room has its own unique style - really quirky and unique. Easy stroll to the beach and shops. Wish we could have stayed longer in this laid back, picturesque town.

Back to Cayucos on the first trip my wife and I have been able to make from the UK to the USA for three years, and back to Cayucos means for us back to the Seaside Motel to see Rebecca and Rick again. They continue to be the best, most welcoming owners we come across anywhere we travel, working hard to keep their place clean, comfortable, and complete. Old fashioned hospitality in a traditional motel with a fascinating garden built in...this really IS what made America great.
Our trip to California this time had a few little problems including trouble with a rental car and we wanted to stay at Seaside one extra day. Our favourite room was however already booked for the nikght we needed but a cancellation enabled Rebecca to offer a room just close by which was just as well kept..help was offered with our move and we were given access early in the day so that we could go out and enjoy our time some more.
Obviously, we hope to get back there again in the future.

We chose this place on a whim, and were lucky to get a room just for one night from Sunday-Monday. Each room is themed (we were in The Hunt, the safari themed room), which we enjoyed. Plenty of room for us and our son took the adjacent private bedroom. Beds were plush and very comfortable. Plenty of towels, coffee, cups, even wine glasses to have a drink in the sweet garden. Beach access is right off the garden and the owners are super friendly and helpful. Wifi was great. Everything was within walking distance in this nice little town. We would come back again and again and would not want to stay anywhere else.

This quaint, intimate, and peaceful place is magical in removing your stress. Extremely well kept and clean. The work of love that Rick and Rebecca have built is amazing. The garden is like no other. Not sure where I would linger longer....in the garden or one of the uniqe rooms.

Room Tip: They are all so unique that I would try any one and every one.

The rooms are always clean and beds are very comfortable. The decor is unique and shows the care Rick and Rebecca give this place. You can't help but relax sitting in Rebecca's garden with the surf pounding in the distance. We just keep coming back to the Seaside Motel. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.
