We found this restaurant on the OpenTable on our short stay in small friendly town of Carpinteria. It has a central location, clean external and welcomeing manager at the front door. We were offered a choice of tables - in the bar area (if you like tv) and inside dining room with many historical photos on the walls. White table cloth, quite environment and friendly service gave us great dining experience. Though my husband was not very happy with his chicken main course, a bowl of clam chowder was very satisfying. They offered prefix menu for $35. Beet salad could be a bit bigger, but the size of the main plate was adequate. I ordered scallops from Appetizers and mushrooms as a side dish. Three scallops were fresh and juicy, in a very delicious butter; mushrooms were unforgettable, and a lot of them . I asked the server how they were cooked. They were baked! As for the dessert from the fixed menu, it was very delicate and skimpy , with too much orange coulis around, which made it soggy.
