We enjoyed this hotel/resort. It is in a ski area with other nice hotel around it and a ski mountain (trails and lifts) just outside the windows. It must be wonderful for low mountain skiers in the winter. The buffet dinner was very nice, everything was very clean. It was great to have a room where we could (and wanted to) open the windows and look out to see nothing but green. They sport an Onsen (a hot mineral spring fed outdoor pool). getting to it is a bit of a ritualistic ordeal but it is a nice experience especially if you have never had such an experience.

Arrived at night - it was difficult to find foot after 830pm. Area was pretty dark and you needed a car to get anywhere. Most restaurants were closed for the winter - hence couldn't find choice restaurants. Ended up at the restaurant area near the Hilton.
Onsen was part of the package so i tried it as well. Had a small outdoor onsen too, which was nice.

Dear Guest,
The best way to explore Niseko in the Spring, Summer and Autumn is to self drive so that you visit and experience all the lovely and natural produce that Niseko offers. You can visit dairy farms, bakeries, tofu shops, farmer's market and many more activities which are dotted all over Niseko. Our Concierge desk will be more than happy to assist you with all these arrangements.
We look forward to your next visit soon.

Stayed 2 nights in February. Room was big and clean. I like the Shiseido toiletries provided in room which smell so good.

Few vending machines are available on each floor. Self service laundry, 4.5 kg washer and dryer are available in costs of 200¥, you may purchase the detergent in 50¥ at lobby shop.

Complimentary access to Hilton and Green leaf Onsen bath for hotel guests. I went to the outdoor onsen in winter at Green leaf and it was a great experience. Hotel provides free shuttle to Hilton, The village and Hiralfu. Shuttle timetable is available at hotel lobby and the buses were very punctual.

Ski in ski out resort, ski lessons are available. Equipments rental and lockers are located next to hotel lobby. I had my ski lesson with coach Victoria, it was wonderful.

Perhaps it's our fault for not researching more about the hotel. We were told that the ski will still be operating until early may and it is obviously not for the beginner area adjacent to the hotel. Only bits of snow left and I believe the ski is only operating at the top of the mountain for the advance and expert users.

The resort is already promoting spring and summer activity which is great for family but not really couple. And do note the main activity centre for the spring-summer activities is at the Hilton hotel - 15mins walk away but not safe for walking - you need shuttle bus to get there. Shuttle bus is free. I believe staying over at Hilton is a better idea during this time - thou Hilton appear to be dated and a bit old compares to green leaf.

Anyway, it's a comfortable hotel for one to relax. To kill the time - not knowing we can't ski - my wife and I spent most time at the onsen, which is really great, we love our room and the breakfast is also great.

April is usually the end of the winter and skiing season. We recommend that you visit us latest in Mar to experience the bountiful powder snow. Feel free to visit the Green Leaf or Niseko Village website for more information on the winter season from our International Ski school, snow activities, dining options and many more.
We hope to see you soon.
