I stayed in Le Meridien Paro Riverfront with my family , and we had the most beautiful experience in the hotel . The view of the river and the mountains is really breathtaking . The ambience of the hotel is amazing , each room facing the river , The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean . The food was also very sumptuous and had a lot of variety. The children had a great time , and we will definitely suggest everyone to visit this beautiful hotel .

We were Eight of us & had a super time for Three Nights & Four Days. Wonderful Location & Excellent Food. The Heated swimming pool, Sauna & Steam Room were just great. Outstanding staff. Will return again. Strongly recommended.

Room Tip: 3rd & 4th Floor are best as one gets a superb view of Paro River;.

Nice ambience, good view, spacious room and good bed. Not lot of variety of food because buffet was always Indian menu. Liked the cinnamon & apple cider beverage. Loved the jacuzzi, Sauna, steam & swimming pool.

The hotel is situated in the banks of the river hence the name Riverfront. The rooms are damn good with excellent view of the river and the mountains. The hotel stay true to the 5 star category by providing excellent service with a very courteous and ready to help staff. They have two restaurants Bamboo Chic (open restaurant which will just calm ones nerves by just sitting and enjoying a drink) and Last Recipe (the indoor restaurant). They have a really good spread for breakfast and dinner (we did not have lunch) and the food we had was really yummy. They have a gym which any fitness freak would just love to workout in only for the amazing scenic view which it offers and a small temperature controlled swimming which was fun to be in after all the tiring sight seeing. I would suggest anyone who wants to go and stay in this hotel to finish sight seeing, shopping, etc in half day and then get back to this marvellous place and just enjoy the property and it's comforts. I would definitely stay here again.

Dear aswhin007,

We are really humbled to receive a 5-star rating from you and a series of really encouraging comments from you about our property, Le Meridien Paro, Riverfront. Thank you for mentioning the excellent view of the river and the mountains that can be seen from our rooms. This has always been one of the most cherished part of our hotel.

We are absolutely thrilled that you have liked both of our restaurants, Latest Recipe and Bamboo Chic. While Latest Recipe serves as an all-day dining venue will a lot of options in the menu, our Asian-fusion specialty restaurant, Bamboo Chic serves the traditional Asian cuisine with a modern twist. Both are must try once you visit the hotel.

Our gym and the swimming pool have also been one of the most appreciated facilities inside the property. We are glad that you have enjoyed your time there as well.

We are happy to know that you would wish to stay here again and should you visit Paro in near future, we will be glad to welcome you for another memorable stay.

Many thanks.

PARO airport is perhaps the most beautiful small airport in the world. The flights have dodge the hills and fly along the river to the modest strip. See the photos.

The Meridien Riverfront is scenic with the mountains and the river. Clean sparkling water. The hotel is new and is overcoming teething.

The breakfast is substantial. The other meals must be selected carefully as quality can vary. Safest would be Indian. But overpriced.

We couldn't get a suite do made do with a deluxe double. Problem with bathroom door that doesn't close. Elevator music is American and thus inappropriate.

The hotel reminded us of the Victoria Jungfrau minus the tourist hustle and traps.

Come once during your lifetime. I recommend it passionately.
