Haven resort is located away from town and it’s on a valley over looking hill top. The name itself speaks. It’s good for those who wants to be away from town and city from noise pollution. It takes about 30 minutes from the airport.
Thai cuisine is best served as it’s run by a Thai.
Rest is history

Great place with obvious Thai connections reflected in the menu. As such a great foodie experience with Thai food all the way. Restaurant also nicely decorated and warm heating by wood fire! Besides this friendly service (anything was possible really) and beautiful rooms overlooking the valley (spacious and lounging view). The kids loved it too. Strongly recommended!

I stayed in the resort for two nights and it was a big disappointment. Although it advertises of a lot of things including being a 4 star property, but it is far from that. They have only one restaurant which serves only Thai food. So if you are not fond of the same, you are stuck. The place is about 6 km from the nearest restaurant in Paro. There is no wifi in the rooms, or non existent due to inadequate coverage, so we had to finally change our room despite repeated requests since morning. That also was of not much of a help. Of course, there is no TV in the resort, so please be careful if you are going there with children. Overall, it is definitely not, repeat not worth the money, as you get better deals in other resorts in Paro.

Room Tip: They have a good view of Paro Valley, from the Rooms above the reception have that view. Other rooms have a good view of the mountains.

Beautifully perched over the Wang Chu. Rated 4-star, but felt more 5-star. The terrible internet connectivity felt like a regional Paro problem (we had the same in another hotel in the neighborhood, and in the airport) rather than Haven's ... that said, wifi reception on the corner rooms is almost zero. Serves only (very good) Thai food. Alas the bar's non-operational ... but hanging out on the dining room balcony is sweet.
