My sister and I took my mom to Napa for a belated mother's day trip last June. We were lucky to nab their 2-room suite which was very comfortable for the three of us. If I had one drawback, it was that Calistoga was in the middle of an uncharacteristic heat wave (100+ degrees) and it took awhile for the air conditioning to get the room to a comfortable level. It did eventually get to a nice temperature and then the room was perfect! If you are arriving midday during the summer months, I would recommend turning the air on right away and hanging out by the pool or walking to downtown for a drink!
The daily breakfast was very good. The coffee was strong and they provided more than your typical 'continental breakfast,' including fresh juice, milk, tea, fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs. There's also an ice machine so we loaded up a mini ice chest with bottled water to hydrate between wineries.
At night, it was incredibly peaceful and the rooms feel more like cottages. The other guests were very friendly. There are porches in front of the rooms so you can sit out and enjoy the evening air. We loved it and we are planning a return trip soon!More
