The bakery here is so special one should stop just too see the offerings. People wait in a long line for the cheese bread and potato balls that are stuffed with seasonal and traditional offerings. Don't let the long lines scare you away. They have their service dialed in to handle their popularity Besides, it will give you ample amount of time to try and decide what you want to order. And for a special treat try the kiss cookies. The Dulce de Leche kiss cookie is addicting. The Cuban sandwich is everything you'd expect or want. The perfect marriage of flavors!

We always make a visit to Porto's when we visit family in Burbank. There's always a line but it moves very quickly and it's worth the little bit of a wait. The baked goods are wonderful and there is a large selection to choose from. This is a MUST stop if you are visiting Burbank.

We were lucky not to wait to much in line as we went on a Monday at 1:30pm. We had the turkey croissant, ropa vieja, medianoche sandwich, croquetas, strawberry roll and about four more different pastries and All was great!! You can't go wrong with anything. They have a great system to get your food and drinks fast and the Service is Great!

There's always a line to get in and it's very crowded, but the food is good. The cakes however, are the absolute best. They taste delicious and they're not very experience.

There is a small parking lot behind the building but quite limited. We were able to find street parking easy enough during the day. This location has a homey feel. Two lines are available, similar to its other locations. Very organized and orderly, the wait time goes by quickly. Once called to the counter by one of the workers, we asked for the famous potato balls and a taste of a sweet treat (a dulce de leche cookie is a must try!) but the sandwiches, we order with the cashier. We got a buzzer that had a number on it, with it we were able to go to the sitting area towards the back and got seated since we had ordered. While waiting, enjoyed the potato balls and enjoyed the natural lighting spreading sunshine throughout the room from the sunroof. Also took in the views of the beautiful painted murals on the walls depicting different elements of the bakery and cafe. The food was brought out to us and it was delicious as usual! My husband got the cuban sandwich and I got the vegetarian sandwich with fried eggplant and layers of vegetables and it was delicious on slices of grain bread! Both sandwiches with a side of plantain chips and they were a great crunchy accompaniment.
