We were looking for somewhere for dinner when we made the drive into town. So glad this place popped up! It was really good. I had a veggie burger with tots and the others all said their beef burgers with onion rings were delicious. It’s a great place to sit outside, dog friendly, enjoy the scenery, and eat comfort foods. Can’t beat the prices either. I would definitely go back.

Heard about this joint from a few different locals. One of them mentioned that they eat dinner here once a week. So we had to try the joint.

Frankly never noticed this place as we drove up Line Street. You have to park across the street, seating is a little wonky, but other than that, this place rustic but fantastic!

The restaurant is adjacent to the mobile home park. There is no parking lot, so you can park across the street or drive past the Burger Barn and park down the street. I must admit, from the funky rustic look of the place, it looks like a dive. But the food was awesome!

The burgers are made from angus beef. There are several options for your burger. We ordered the Wake a Mole and the Classic. The Wake a Mole comes with guacamole, bacon, 3 tomatoes, red onion, and lettuce. The guacamole was a little spicy, but didn't overwhelm the taste of the burger. The All American burger was equally delicious. Plenty of burger to satisfy a hunger appetite.

The burgers were huge and delicious. The fries piping hot, crispy and tasty. The onion rings huge and came with homemade ranch dressing. The shakes were yummy and filling.
Can't wait to go again and try something new!

G I , Thanks for your great review, I'll note- We DO Have a PARKING LOT, enough for 8 cars. It's also possible to park streetside next to our business. We have a rustic outside, yet top-of-the-line cutting edge equipped interior. It's a goal of ours to have our exterior & landscaping be as impressive as our high tech kitchen. We are still a young business, and rely heavily on guests like you, who take your time to write internet reviews that are current, (and accurate) so people who are debating on a location for a meal can decide where to enjoy their next dining experience. As you've said- we're easy to miss as you're driving by, but all the locals talk about u, and rate us #1 each year. We have plans to make our streetside presence more visible, though we're busy year round, I will push it up our priority list when we slow down between seasons, so guests will have an easier time finding us. I look forward to serving you the next time you're adventuring in the high Sierras, and hope you'll enjoy your next visit as much as you did your last one. (my wife's favorite is the bacon guac burger you had) Sincerely, Sean, Chris & Crew

Great spot of the beaten path. Friendly service, dog friendly entertainment. We had the cheeseburger, Bison burger and a order of onion rings. All was very good. They even offered homemade doggie treats.

My husband and I had heard of Burger Barn for years, from friends of ours, but had never been there. Last week we stopped, and we are so glad that we did. They have all kinds of options for making your Burger, from the patty, to bun, to trimmings. They have a drive through that is not your normal drive through. It's just a great place! Feels like a good vibe, hippy-dippy place with good food, and good people.
