In a perfect location this cottage is only a 10 minute walk into Plockton
The train runs right along side and you can catch a train into Kyle or over to Inverness
Weather for the time we was there was fabulous hitting a high of 31 degrees into the second week
Neighbors at the property are very friendly
You are also only a 15 minute walk from Coral Beach and if you take the Brae walk you will have fantastic views across the Loch's once you have climbed up to the view point
Thanks to the property owners ,Thomas and Julie, there is nothing you will be without with a food hamper provided on your arrival

“Beautiful area, great location and dog friendly cottage”
Reviewed 15 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

The Sidings is very well equipped, in a great location that mean't we took a few day trips on the stunning Kyle Railway line.
Family and dog loved our week here, and Plockton is a bit of a favourite in Scotland.
Fantastic in all ways, only one thing I could suggest is that it took us 2 days to find the Wifi behind the TV, so maybe putting the access code as one of the instructions on the fridge would be helpful to future guests :)
Welcome Hamper very welcome indeed and we enjoyed your jam very much!

Reviewed 20 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Comfortable semi-detached cottage, clean and well equipped. Quiet location and Plockton harbour within walking distance.
Very good base to go and explore the Isle of Skye.
Eilean Donan Castle and lots of walks close by.
I'd definitey recommend!

“Lovely cottage in excellent location”
Reviewed 1 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Spent a lovely week here with excellent weather. Very comfortable accommodation and a much appreciated welcome box of groceries - especially the homemade jam. Great area for short walks, long walks and mountain walks. Amazing scenery. We will be back.

“amazing place in a gorgeous location”
Reviewed 15 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

we stayed at the siding in april 17. what a beautiful little cottage. equipped with everything you could need (with a welcome basket and flowers for arrival with home made jam). such a lovely touch. the accommodation was very well kept, immaculate and homely. the open fire was a comforting addition on a cold evening. we settled into plockton very easily, taking walks around plockton and surrounding areas. also took a drive up to applecross which was stunning. the plockton inn was very friendly, food really good and people really friendly. would definitely rate this accommodation and will go back
