Located in a magnificent beach, Sielen Diva is a luxurious boutique hotel, which will give you an experience of a life time. I have been to Sielen Diva with my wife to spend our wedding anniversary and it has become a memorable stay for both of us.

It is not far from the historical Galle town, as well as the famous Jungle beach and the Unawatuna beach. As you enter to the hotel premises from the main gate, Amila, the hotel manager, will be there to greet you and escort you inside. From there onward, the level of hospitality provided by the Sielen Diva staff is splendid. Amila will make sure to attend to each and every guest, fulfilling all their needs. His entire staff is really kind and will attend to your needs right away, as they have a good understanding of their guests.

We stayed in the room called "Mora", which was really cool. Huge, is an understatement for the space they have allocated for a room and its bathroom. At Sielen Diva, even a standard room will give you a suite experience. I had a chance to see their suites and they are massive. Anyone who would like to get the experience of having your own holiday home by the beach, go for Sielen DIva suites. Suites on the ground floor will give you direct access to the garden and the beach.

The view I had from my room was out of this world. The sea view with ships gently swaying near the horizon to the rhythmic waves, will take you to a whole new dimension of calmness. The rooms were absolutely clean as they have just built them. Each room is equipped with a smart TV and high speed internet, which will make your stay fancy.

Sielen Diva will provide you an ala carte menu for your meals, but if you want something out of the menu specially made for you, they won't think twice to cook it for you. The food we had was really tasty and clean. For me and my wife, they have arranged a mind blowing candle light dinner by the beach garden, under the moonlight.

The infinity pool by the garden will complete the luxury stay one can enjoy at Sielen Diva. Unlike in most hotels, Sielen Diva pool side is open till 10 pm at night, so you can enjoy as much as you like.

After the romantic candle light dinner, Amila was kind enough to take us to the hidden basement garden area of Sielen Diva, which will grant you access to its play area. Equipped with a Foosball table, a pool table, a carom table and so many board games for kids, the play area will be a heaven inside heaven for you and your family. If you want to play macho, you can challenge your partner to a dart game on their dart board. If you get bored, select a good movie from their movie collection and watch it on the big screen smart TV, while laying down on the comfortable sofa.

The entire stay at Sielen Diva was above 5 stars and we actually did not want to leave, even after the complementary late check-out offered to us. Both myself and my wife are looking forward to come back again. Hope Sielen Diva will keep up its awesome service.

Having fallen in love with the southern part of Sri Lanka with its raw, natural beauty, I was excited to be going back for a holiday with a group of close friends. Sielen Diva was on the cards even before the resort was built, and my expectations were high. The group of us occupied all seven bedrooms, so we had the entire villa to ourselves, including its spectacular view which was ours all day and night - each room, including the main pool and lounge area is built in a way that captures the full, open view of the Indian Ocean. The sounds of crashing waves and wind-blown hair is what you can expect during the entire duration of your stay, and that's a promise! The resort is a great option if you are holidaying with family and friends as it offers both privacy to read a book alone (or a solo walk on the beach) or to dine, dance, and be merry communally in its generously spacious lounge area. While the rooms, decor, design and fittings of the resort are all very commendable, what impressed me the most were the staff that run this resort. From the food that was dished out to attending to your every need, you can expect nothing less than amazing. If you're a foodie who is happy to indulge in authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, go on a diet before this holiday because you will pile on the pounds! The menu is not limited to Sri Lankan cuisine, but I can only vouch for this because I opted for the local fare during my stay. This particular holiday was planned in advance to celebrate four milestone birthdays in our group, and the main party was meant to be a surprise! I liaised with the resort manager (Amila) weeks in advance via email - everything from hiring a DJ and florist to the dinner menu, performances and decorations were discussed, and on the day of the party, everything turned out beautifully! Keeping this party a secret was a huge challenge on the part of the resort manager, who continually liaised with me surreptitiously during my stay right up to the party day. Prepping the resort according to the party theme and setting up all the decorations were executed so flawlessly that we managed to pull off a huge surprise birthday party! This could not have been possible without the cooperation of all staff members at the resort who danced to my every tune. The party was a blast, and it was a sorry day when we had to leave the resort a day or two later. I highly recommend this place if you are an ocean/beach person, if you love having your tastebuds surprised, and if you are planning a holiday with family and friends.
