Lovely hotel in the centre of Soller. We loved the building set around a central courtyard, beautiful gardens and a view of the mountains. The staff was very helpful and personable. Breakfast included in the price was nice, very tasty fresh bread.

This is not so much a review, more a love letter to the C'an Roses. We are just back from our latest visit and more than ever it feels like a place of unsurpassed charm, grace, style, and peacefulness. It's all been said here before: the enormous garden behind that wooden door a short walk from the main square, the surprisingly large swimming pool, the friendly staff all of whom have been there a long time and all of whom are absolutely committed to what they do, the attentive but unobtrusive management, the sense of a place that "runs itself" effortlessly. A word that comes up in many of these reviews is "oasis" and that's absolutely right –- it is a green place, around water, and a place of refreshment in the midst of a harsh world. Of course it's not for everyone: if you want dozens of people milling around you will not find it here; and if you want noise and excitement and novelty you won't find it here; and if you want a full English breakfast you certainly won't find it here. But if you want to relax and enjoy a kind of low-key unostentatious luxury, then look no further.

C'an Roses is a small 'boutique' style hotel which is just terrific. Its located in an old Majorcan Olive Oil mill; the style is relaxed and spacious. Breakfast is usually outside under large umbrellas on the patio, and each room is individual, well equipped and pleasing. The gardens are well-kept and provide a wonderful backdrop to the pool and lounge areas with sunbeds. The town is a few minutes away. The hosts are helpful and organised and keen that you have a wonderful stay. Can't wait to return.

We have just spent 3 nights at Ca'n Roses, this is a very small boutique hotel, just off the main square in Soller, it is a good hotel for a quiet "couples" break rather than a family break. The various rooms are all different and are spotlessly clean and well appointed, there is a lovely quite big pool with a nice secluded sun bathing area. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast arrangement wasn't ideal, everyone is sat at one long bench rather than individual tables, in my opinion there were a couple of safety related issues, they left candles burning in glass containers on wooden chairs which looked great for effect but we thought were unsafe.
We had an early departure at 6.30 am and found it hard to find our way out of the hotel as the light switches were not where you would expect them, there was no night lighting or sensor controlled lighting.

A beautiful, calm and relaxing environment, that felt more like a retreat than a hotel. The location, hosts, food, decor and attention to detail made this trip something special. Would definitely recommend and revisit!
