Had a lovely evening meal here with friends. It was gorgeous to sit outside in the square, even though it was October. The food was very tasty. We shared a selection of tapas, then each had a main course - I had octopus. The service was attentive.Considering that this could be a big tourist trap - the prices were fair and food quality good.

This hotel is a delight. The decor is Art Noveau, bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served in a pleasant square outside the hotel. A good choice of fresh wholesome food with generous portions. The garden is lovely to have a quiet evening meal or lunch. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this 8 bedroom hotel to anyone who likes a homely atmosphere.

This is a most welcoming and attractive place to stay. Our room looked out onto the main square, the church and the mountains behind. In the mornings breakfast is served at one of the cafes in the square, so you can watch the bustling life of the town and the old men cracking jokes over their coffee and newspapers at the cafe next door. The staff (Patricia, Sylvia and Toni) are very friendly and there is generally a good, warmhearted atmosphere. Yes, some of the aspects of the room are a little worn (the shower would not stay in the attachment on the wall etc) but on the other hand the bed was the most comfortable of any we experienced in Spain and the air-con worked very well. The food is particularly good, especially dinner at the Hotel La Vila restaurant in the square. Recommended.

Room tip: Higher floors facing the square are probably quieter (but best to keep windows closed and air-con on).

This is a stunning old boutique hotel in the central square in Soller. My husband I stayed 6 nights in the studio a few doors down (still on the square) with incredible views over the mountains from a small balcony (you can sit there with a cold glass of wine from the rooms fridge and watch the light changing on those mountains for hours). Despite being in a central location its very quiet in the studio and air conditioning works perfectly on those hot days/nights. Yeah its a climb up those stairs but do you really expect a lift in such an old building?! hotel itself beautiful and all staff very friendly and helpful. Food was great (both the lunch and evening menus) and breakfast (including in the price) is very nice (gigantic scrambled egg!!). Worth having a main meal in the hotel's internal courtyard too. Overall its a wonderful base either for pottering in the town or climbing the surrounding hills and mountains. We fell in love with Soller and this is due, in part, to our stay at this hotel.

We were a little concerned about being right on the main square in Soller, but as we requested a room facing the garden, it was completely quiet. The room was nice and comfortable, large enough, and with a serviceable bathroom. The service was superb. Some of the staff doubled as servers and bartenders for the restaurant and were always busy, but when they had a moment, they were extraordinarily gracious and helpful. There were some things about the property that could be updated, but it's a remarkable value for Soller. We would definitely consider staying there again. We also ate three nights at the garden restaurant. So convenient and, really, in comparison to other highly rated restaurants in town, the food is terrific and the service is great.

Room tip: It's quiet if you get a garden-facing room. Probably noisy if you face the square.
