We stayed at Ca N'ai for 4 nights in July, having spent weeks looking for the right place to stay and we were blown away....
The location is fantastic. 30 mins from Palma, a 20 minute walk to Port de Soller and very close to the nearby town of Soller. Beautiful mountains and rural fields are the backdrop to this stunning 1700's finca. Literally the most beautiful setting!
The finca is very typically Spanish and has a barefoot luxury feel, without being pretentious at all. We stayed in room 4 which is quirkily set over 2 floors with the bedroom upstairs with a bath in the room. The decor is very traditional, which we enjoyed, with plenty of bright colours and open beams on the ceiling.
The pool area is lovely with partly shaded sunbeds and an option to laze in the sunny hammocks, or ones shaded by fruit trees.
Breakfast included pastries, breads, meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruits etc and freshly squeezed orange juice. All very nice and fresh. We also ordered omelettes/eggs/bacon which were lovely.
We ate lunch at the Finca twice during our trip and absolutely loved it! We had antipasti-style platters with delicious breads, meats, olives etc and the best chicken Caesar salad I've ever had!
We ate dinner one night with the stunning scenery as our entertainment. Between us we had squid, quail and cheesecake which were all very fresh, beautifully presented and flavoursome. The sparkling wine that accompanied our meal was very good as well.
We wished we could've stayed longer, and have been recommending Finca Ca N'ai to our friends and family.
Absolutely beautiful, great service and one of the best locations we've enjoyed on holiday. Thank you to all the fantastic staff for a fantastic break!

We had high expectations regarding this establishment, after viewing the website and reading tripadvisor reviews, but generally were a little disappointed. Firstly, the positives... the setting is outstanding. Pictures do not do justice to the scenery, peacefulness and general ambience of the setting. The public sitting and eating areas are great and become magical in the evening. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We ate here on two evenings. The a la carte food was of a good standard but the tapas evening was less so. It was served as a starter, main and dessert with no choice. The opposite of what I understood Tapas to be. The room ... as all the rooms vary in design and furniture I can only comment on the one we stayed in. It was spacious with great views. The terrace area outside the room was almost private. We had the pleasure of a family of frogs who my husband became quite fond of. However, we were less fond of the stagnant pond outside our door in which they lived. As some others have commented, it was a little ‘rough around the edges.’ Easy things to fix... move the spare mattresses stored in sheds which are visible, take away redundant coils of wire and broken rattan blinds and old pots which litter certain areas. It would be great too if at least a kettle and cups were available in rooms so a coffee could be enjoyed when taking in the scenery, especially given there is no room service which we weren’t expecting. (NB a Nespresso machine is available in the more expensive rooms). However, when I mentioned this a full tea tray was immediately brought. Thank you. A final mention, the WIFI wasn’t working where we were but was available in the main areas. I think many of these observations have been made by others. For myself it is a potential five star facility but needs some tweaks.

We were blown away by the beauty, tranquility, comfort and location of this place. It is as near perfect as you could get in a rural finca style hotel. Only two grumbles (see later!). The setting is at the edge of the Vally that accommodates Soller and is near to the Deia road. You are surrounded but not oppressed by the mountains which change colour throughout the day depending on the angle of the sun. When blended with the rural landscape, the orange groves, other growing crops and strategically placed rusting tractors and rustic artwork it is a photographer's paradise. The main building is quirky with interlinked terraces and numerous sitting areas off the courtyard, and interesting decor inside. The breakfasts, as delicious as described in other reviews, are taken on a covered terrace at the edge of the farmed area, and the exceptional evening meals at a higher level with excellent views of the mountains and Soller at the opposite end of the valley. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly and attentive staff.
Whilst we took three out of five meals during our stay in the evening which were delicious and creative, as the menu appears to be fixed for the week and the food a little rich, we decided to seek more simple fare on other nights in Soller and the port which are easily accessible by the tram, the stop for which is a short walk away.
The grumbles? It seems churlish to mention any very minor glitches but in the interests of a full review here goes. Wifi patchy by (wonderful) pool area and in suite at far and of the finca where we stayed. Our suite, which was spacious, comfortable and well furnished with an astonishingly large bathroom and dressing area, was dark inside and out, and a disincentive to spend to much time there (all sunny days), despite the separate lounge area with TV (only German and Spanish channels - please could at least one English channel be set up? - ). However, armed with the knowledge that there are several brighter suites (which we saw) and with an intention to return next year, we know what we are going to ask for....
I (reluctantly) thoroughly recommend this place as a dream location for couples. Reluctant because we want to make sure that it doesn't get too popular and difficult to book!

Room Tip: Although all suites are spacious, one or two are darker and less sunny, so if you want to sit out by your suite you will need to check this.

We are very pleased to read that you have enjoyed your stay with us here in Soller.

The WIFI has been upgraded and works now all around the Finca. Also we do offer a few English tv channels, but it is true that there are more German and Spanish channels to choose from.

We truly look forward to welcoming you again next year !!

Exactly what we were looking for, beautiful setting, tranquil and spacious, delightful personal service from virtually all staff. We were upgraded to lovely suite, large modern room in a rural setting away from main building two minutes walk, completely private with stunning view of mountains and the finca farm land. Although half term it was serene as no children under 16, mostly couples. Breakfast in open shaded terrace with gorgeous views, fresh fruit and orange juice, all the usual with eggs and other hot food to order served till 11am. Only minor improvement could be really good coffee machine rather than self serve one, but still perfectly ok. C’an Ai is between Sóller town and Port Sóller which you can walk in just under half an hour on delightful trail. We are at port 3 nights very pretty good atmosphere and plenty of Restaurents. Great fish although easy to spend 60 euros on 2 courses and glass or two of wine.
We like bed the whole place as it has lovely walking trails to gorgeous picturesque villages for example we walked around 3 hours to beautiful little town of Deia with frequent stops to take pictures of stunning views and have fabulous home made by French lady apricot flan in utterly idyllic setting in beautiful old building. One of those unforgettable magical days.
Wish we had stayed longer but will return, with husband next time.
Also recommend terrifically helpful and well informed travel agent Henrik of Rural places Majorca.

We stayed in a junior suite in a recently constructed accommodation at the far end of the finca. The suite was spacious, tastefully furnished with very comfortable bed and good double shower. Staff were attentive and unobtrusive. Pool and gardens gorgeous with plenty of hammocks and deluxe sun loungers with some appropriately placed in delicate shade of palm trees. Easy 20 minute walks to either Sóller or Port de Sóller for evening meals. Breakfasts on a terrace were relaxed wholesome and delicious. The only problem was the duration of our stay we were without WiFi in our suite ( but still available on the terrace and main reception buildings) due to a previous lightening strike. But that in some respects may have been an advantage! Would definitely recommend and potentially return ourselves.
